I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who works extensively with individuals, couples and families facing issues related to general and social anxiety, mood disorders, relationship problems and career/life transitions or overall dissatisfaction. My experience and background has also made me uniquely qualified to work with those involved in the entertainment industry by helping to minimize the pressures that exist with these types of professions.
Overall, I feel it’s important to work in a collaborative manner with my clients to utilize their strengths and provide a more individualized approach to therapy. I’m trained and apply therapeutic strategies based in CBT, DBT, Systems Theory, Attachment Styles and Client-Centered therapy. This broad range allows me to implement more effective methods for the purposes of reaching therapeutic goals since I recognize that each person has a unique life experience.
I have been practicing for close to 7 years and received my Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, with an emphasis in Marriage, Family Therapy, from Pepperdine University. Besides my extensive therapy background, I also have specialized training in crisis intervention and preventative strategies for people at risk of suicide.
