I am a bilingual, licensed marriage and family therapist and I love working with children, adolescents, adults and couples. I seek to establish a space in which you can feel safe and nurtured and I approach our work together psychodynamically, with an emphasis on human connection and existential philosophy. I always feel a sense of compassion and empathy as we sort through wishes, fantasies, anxieties and fears. I encourage my clients, towards growth, motivation, curiosity and new perspective that can open new choices and possibilities in life. I intend for you to leave our work with greater, resiliency, self-reliance and a vision for your life.
I have a Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education from Granite State College, a Master’s in Birth to Three: Early Intervention from Wheelock College, and a Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University. My therapeutic approach was honed by working in high-risk communities treating sexual trauma, teaching parenting classes, providing developmental support to parents and children, healing domestic violence and supporting cancer survivors. These experiences taught me that nothing is more important than a sense of agency in any situation.
Though therapy is common, the journey you take in self-discovery, healing, coping and exploration will be entirely your own. I never lose a sense of respect, awe and warmth when I am trusted to accompany someone on this journey. I look forward to supporting.
